A car collides with a truck near Trichy – 6 people including a girl are killed

Trichy: Six people, including a girl, died when a car collided with a truck near Trichy.

A car collided with a truck unexpectedly on the Salem National Highway near Tiruvasi in Trichy district. In this accident which occurred in the early hours of the morning, 6 people including a girl from the car were crushed to death on the spot. Also 3 people who were struggling for life with serious injuries were rescued and admitted to the hospital.

The bodies of the 6 deceased have been sent to Trichy Government Hospital for postmortem.

Initial information has come out that all the 6 deceased are from Edappadi in Salem district.
