Chennai: Additional sections have been added to the case already registered against Seeman, chief coordinator of Naam Tamilar Party, for making controversial comments about a particular community, threatening the workers of northern states.
Naam Tamilar Party coordinator Seeman, who was campaigning for the Erode East by-election, was criticized for talking about a particular community. Protests were held against Seeman at various places in this regard.

In this case, a case was registered against Seeman regarding the controversial comment. Accordingly, a case was registered against Seeman at the Karungalpalayam police station. Now in this case, an additional section has been added that he spoke threateningly to the North State workers.
Earlier, Prashant Kishore had posted a video of Naam Tamil Party chief coordinator Seeman speaking and alleged that “violence is being openly incited against Hindi speakers in Tamil Nadu”. It is also noteworthy that he questioned why action was not taken against people like them.
