Chennai: Are the posts of Coordinator, Co-Coordinator expired in AIADMK? Isn’t it? Madras High Court has allowed the defense of former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam to respond.

The case filed against the AIADMK General Committee on June 23 last year by General Committee Member Shanmugam was heard again today before Justice Kumaresh Babu. At that time, AIADMK Interim General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami said, “Since the Supreme Court has ruled on this issue, these petitions have expired.” reported.

O. Panneerselvam’s lawyer Rajalakshmi, who objected to this, said, “The Supreme Court has upheld the judgment given by a two-judge bench that whether the posts of coordinator and co-coordinator have lapsed can be decided only in the pending petition. Also, time should be given to file a reply petition in this case.” requested.

Accepting this, the judge allowed O. Panneerselvam to file a reply and adjourned the hearing to March 27.
