New Delhi: CBI summons Tejashwi Yadav for 2nd time in case of getting land as bribe for railway work. But he did not appear for the hearing saying that his pregnant wife was in the hospital.
Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. Then some people from Bihar were accused of giving their land as a bribe to the Lalu family to get jobs in the railways. The CBI and the Enforcement Directorate have registered separate cases in this regard. So far 3 people have been arrested in this case.

The CBI has filed a charge sheet against 14 people including Lalu and his wife Rabri in this case. The Delhi court has already sent a summons for the hearing on the 15th.
In this case, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Lalu’s son Tejashwi Yadav’s house in Delhi and some houses owned by Lalu’s daughter Misa Bharti in Patna yesterday were raided by the enforcement officers.

Meanwhile, the CBI officials issued a second summons to Tejashwi Yadav to appear in person on Saturday afternoon. Earlier they had sent a summons to appear on February 4. But then he did not appear. In this case, Tejashwi Yadav did not appear at the CBI office yesterday.
It is said that the enforcement department officials who raided Tejashwi Yadav’s house yesterday, interrogated him for 12 hours. His wife was admitted to the hospital due to this. As a result, it has been reported that Tejashwi Yadav informed the CBI office yesterday that he will not appear for the investigation.
Discovery of assets worth Rs.600 crore: Yesterday, enforcement agencies raided 24 locations in the National Capital Region, Mumbai and Patna, including the homes of Lalu’s son Tejashwi Yadav and daughter Misa Bharti in Delhi.

These include the homes of Lalu’s other daughters Ragini, Chanda and Hema Yadav, as well as former Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Abu Thojana, who is close to Lalu. 1.5 kg of gold jewellery, 540 grams of gold bars, Rs 70 lakh in cash and assets worth Rs 600 crore have been found in this raid.

The company has been accused in a case of bribery of land for railway work. A person who got a job in the railways gave his land to this company as a bribe. 4 people have sold land to Meridian Construction Company owned by former Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Abu Thojana. This was said by the enforcement officer.
