Chennai: Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated the new buildings constructed at a cost of Rs. 32 crore on behalf of the Housing and Transport Department through a video.

Tamil Nadu Housing Board is working towards providing housing to all the different sections of the society like industrial employees and government employees. The Board also provides eco-friendly, sustainable housing solutions. It is currently engaged in high-rise apartment buildings, commercial and office buildings, and redevelopment projects.
In this regard, new divisional office building, divisional office complex, satellite city divisional office building and guest house have been constructed at a cost of Rs.26.31 crore at Sathuvachari, Trichy Chatanur, Madurai district, Uchapatti, Madurai district. These were inaugurated yesterday by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin via video from Chennai.
An office building has been constructed for Villupuram District Senchi Motor Vehicle Inspector Office at a cost of Rs.1 Crore 62 Lakh 50 thousand on behalf of Transport Department. An office building with a driving test platform has been constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore 72 lakh 30 thousand for Sirkazhi Motor Vehicle Inspectorate under the control of Mayiladuthurai Regional Transport Office.
These offices are built with various facilities including public waiting room, motor vehicle inspection room, palagunar, driving license issuing room, computer room, conference room. Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated these buildings yesterday through a video.
In this event, Ministers S.Muthusamy, S.S.Sivasankar, Palanivel Thiagarajan, Tamil Nadu Housing Board Chairman Poochy S. Murugan, Chief Secretary V. Irayanbu, Home Secretary K. Panindra Reddy, Housing Department Secretary Hitesh Kumar S. Makwana, Transport Commissioner No. Nirmalraj and others participated.
