Residents of the area have lost hope due to frequent crude oil spills and pipeline breaks being repaired. A permanent solution to the problem of crude oil spillage should be found. Sicil company can use new technology to prevent further crude oil spills. The Sicil company has to ensure that there is no leakage of crude oil. The Tamil Nadu government should also take appropriate action to prevent such crude oil spills from happening again,” it said.
