Lawyer Johab Hussain, appearing on behalf of the Enforcement Department, said: Manish Sisodia, his assistant Vijay Nair, Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter Kavitha were involved in irregularities in issuing liquor shop licenses. A fraud to the tune of Rs.292 crore has been discovered. Aam Aadmi leaders have been bribed to the tune of Rs 100 crore on behalf of Kavita’s associated Southern Group. Vijay Nair, as Sisodia’s representative, has met Kavita.
14 mobile phones used by Sisodia have been destroyed in the last one year. These mobile phones and the SIM cards used in them are not in the name of Sisodia. He refuses to cooperate with the prosecution. He should be detained for 10 days and allowed to be interrogated. This was argued by Johab Hussain, the lawyer of the Enforcement Department.

Senior advocates Dayan Krishnan, Mohit Mathur and Siddharth Aggarwal appeared for Manish Sisodia.
They said: The liquor policy was implemented only after the Delhi Aam Aadmi Party government officials, Finance Secretary and Delhi Lieutenant Governor visited. Sisodia’s representative Vijay Nair is a baseless allegation, says the Enforcement Directorate. The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Sisodia in a money laundering case to prevent him from getting bail. So argued Sisodia’s lawyers.
After hearing both sides, Justice MK Nagpal allowed the Enforcement Directorate to remand former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for 7 days. According to this, Sisodia will be interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate till March 17.
