There are many categories of vocational training institutes. You (students) have to master it and work in many places and make good quality products through your skills. You have an important responsibility to develop and deliver world-class products.
The government has decided to create smart classes in schools. Similarly, it is the government’s intention to change the vocational training centers. We have to prepare ourselves to adapt to the current technology.
The government is taking steps for that. The central government has also given funds for the same. The state government has also allocated funds. So students should develop their skills through these exercises.
Puducherry graduates should come forward to start many businesses. If that is the case then surely our industry will help you. Banks are also willing to lend. The government is taking steps to bring many vocational training centers. Students studying in vocational training institutes are given an incentive of Rs.150 per month. They have demanded to increase it to Rs.500. The government has the intention to raise it.
Scheduled students are paid Rs.160 per month. The government also wants to raise it to Rs.1,000. The government is focusing on developing vocational training institutes. It is also taking steps to implement craft training programs better.
It is my opinion that the central government has given great recognition to the graduation ceremony of 10 lakh branches across India. So the students should use it properly.” Chief Minister Rangasamy said.
