Islamabad: Pakistan’s opposition leader has sparked controversy by saying that Imran Khan should be hanged in public.

Raja Riaz Ahmed Khan speaking about this in Parliament said, “This country is ashamed to see the actions of Imran Khan’s supporters who are involved in rioting activities across the country. Imran Khan should be hanged in public. But the court welcomes him like a son-in-law. If the judges are very happy with this Jewish agent, let them join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Some posts are vacant in the party. These judges can fight for that position. They should be replaced by judges who give justice to the poor,” he said.

In this situation, Raja Riaz Ahmed Khan’s speech has caused controversy. Former Pakistan Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan’s party erupted in violence following his arrest last week in a corruption case. Cases have been registered against Imran Khan in connection with the setting fire to an army officer’s house in Lahore due to this violent incident.

Islamabad High Court granted bail to Imran Khan for 2 weeks in these cases. Meanwhile, the media reported that Imran Khan’s supporters across the country have been violent against the move against him.
