Hyderabad: Telangana State’s new Chief Secretariat building has been constructed in Hyderabad. Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao has announced that its opening ceremony will be held on April 30.
Telangana State Government Rs. At a cost of 650 crores, it has built a huge headquarters in its capital Hyderabad. The new headquarters is a 64,989 sq ft, 11 storied building near Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad.

The state government has named the new chief secretariat building after Chatta Mamedhai Ambedkar. Earlier, it was announced that the opening ceremony of this building will be held on February 17. Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Kerala, Punjab and other states were invited to attend.
Meanwhile, after the Central Election Commission decided to hold upper house elections and local body by-elections in the states of Andhra and Telangana, the rules of conduct of elections came into force. As a result, the opening ceremony of the Secretariat has been postponed to an unspecified date.

In this case, the Chief Minister of the state K. Chandrasekhara Rao visited with officials yesterday. He then said, “The inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters building will be held on April 30. The monument erected in the memory of those who sacrificed their lives fighting for the state of Telangana will be inaugurated on June 2,” he said.
Ambedkar Statue: The Telangana State Council of Ministers has decided to inaugurate the 125-feet tall Ambedkar statue near I-Max theater in Hyderabad on April 14. Party leaders from not only Telangana but also many states are expected to participate in this function.
