New Delhi: An individual bill on breast cancer for women has been tabled in the Lok Sabha today. This was filed by DMK’s South Chennai MP Tamilachi Thangapandian.

This individual bill filed by Tamilachi Thangapandian is related to the welfare of women across the country.
Through this, to create awareness among people from all walks of life about breast cancer. Free screening and ‘mammography’ treatments are available to women across the country.
The bill also provides advanced modern treatment for those diagnosed with breast cancer. MP Tamilachi Thangapandian has insisted that it should be enacted in Parliament in the 73rd year of the Republic. He has also said that through his bill, it can be made a law and called the Breast Cancer Awareness Act-2022. When the bill was tabled in the Lok Sabha today, it was applauded by fellow women MPs.
