Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has changed the home picture of his social media page. The Chief Minister’s photograph has attracted attention while Prime Minister Modi had called for the installation of the national flag image.
To mark the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence, the Central Government is carrying out various activities under the name ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ (Amrit Mahotsav). The Central Government has decided to implement the scheme of National Flag at every home on Independence Day on 15th August. For this, from August 13 to 15, every house has been invited to hoist the national flag.
Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for all Indians to post the national flag as their social media cover photo from August 2 to 15 and the day before yesterday, he uploaded the national flag in the cover photo of his social media pages including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. “The tricolor flag gives us strength and inspiration. It encourages us to strive for the progress of the country,” PM Modi also posted. Following the Prime Minister, Union Ministers and BJP members have been uploading the national flag on their websites.
In this case, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has changed the home picture of his social media page. In it, the former chief minister and his father posted a photo of the national flag being hoisted at Karunanidhi Fort and wrote, “The right of state chief ministers to hoist the flag on 15th August was obtained in 1974 by Muthamizharinagar artist!” Also posted.
