Oppo’s first foldable smartphone, Oppo Find N, is part of its high-end Find series. It features a clamshell-style design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. The smartphone has a 7.1-inch inner display and a 5.49-inch outer one. When folded, the 18:9 aspect ratio is easy to use with one hand.
The inner display unfolds directly into landscape mode. Both the displays are crisp and clear, and it has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which provides a smooth video watching experience. The crease on the foldable device is barely noticeable. The company has used a Flexion Hinge on the smartphone that brings together 136 components.
The foldable design allows the device to freely stand at various angles making it suitable for hands-free photography and video calls. Under the hood, it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The user interface is customised. Native apps that come pre-installed with phones work fluently but there are a few issues with its orientation while using third-party apps. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor, a 16 MP ultra-wide lens and a 13 MP telephoto lens. The wide-screen inner display adds to the overall camera experience.
The foldable smartphone also has selfie cameras on both the inner and outer displays. The front cameras are quite quick while using the face unlock feature. The Oppo Find N is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It also gets 15W AIRVOOC wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
