Coimbatore: Chief Minister M.K.Stalin spoke at a function held in Coimbatore to get a big victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

On behalf of the combined Coimbatore DMK, a ceremony where 4,000 members of the alternative party joined the DMK took place today (March 11) at an arena in Chinniampalayam. The function was presided over by DMK chief and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin. In his presence, 4 thousand people from parties including AIADMK, DMDK joined DMK. The Chief Minister welcomed them with a shawl.

After that Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said: This association has a history. When he started this party in 1949, Anna emphasized that this party is not only for the government but also for the poor and simple people. There are many parties in the country today. There are also parties that have a place in history.

At the same time we also see parties that appear out of nowhere. All the parties that appear like that, the day after they appear, the day they appear, even before they appear, they say that I am the next chief minister and we will come to power. All the parties that were started with that spirit have gone to what state today, we are seeing the scenes and the situation where they are wandering like orphans today.

Dissolution of Government: But DMK is not like that. Although it was started in 1949, the DMK entered the fray only in the 1957 elections after gaining the approval of the people. Opposition in 1962. DMK came to power in 1967 by winning majority of seats. Anna came to power and gave various schemes to the people of Tamil Nadu. Among them, 3 decisions are important: all marriages will be conducted according to law, bilingual policy, and naming Tamil Nadu as Tamil Nadu.

These three decisions are the reason why all of us can live in Tamil Nadu with dignity. Karunanidhi took over as Chief Minister after Anna’s death. Later, we won the 1971 elections and came to power. Karunanidhi’s failure to fight against the crisis led to the dissolution of the government. Then DMK could not come to power for 13 years.

We came back to power in 1989. In 1991 they dissolved the government saying that they had helped the LTTE. We came to power in 1996 and 2006. Then he could not come to power for 10 years. Now 2021 is the 6th term of DMK rule. There is no party as successful as DMK. No party has failed like DMK.

Dravidian model of governance: The Dravidian model of government, which can be run in the Karunanidhi way, is a government that not only does what it says, but also what it does not say. This is why we won the recent Erode East by-election by a margin of 66,000 votes. The reason for this is the confidence that the people may have had in this regime.

We should achieve similar success in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. All you have to do today is to get a big win in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. A strategy should be set accordingly. Because today they are dreaming that they can use religion and caste to cause riots and confusion and thereby bring down this regime. So, ignoring all that and not worrying about anything, our target is the Lok Sabha elections.

We lost only one seat in the last Lok Sabha elections. That seat too should not be lost in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. We will win 40 out of 40 constituencies including Puducherry. This is not just the victory of a secular alliance that may exist in Tamil Nadu. He said that we are going to fully engage in that effort to get a huge victory in all the states where the whole of India can be in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and you should stand by and support it.

Kannappan, Pongalur Palaniswami, Mayor Kalpana, former MLAs Coimbatore Selvaraj, V. .C. Arakutty and party’s state and district administrators were also present.
