New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate yesterday raided Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav’s house in Delhi in connection with the case of land acquisition for railway works.
Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. It was then alleged that some people from Bihar had given away or sold their lands to Lalu’s family and close associates to get jobs in the railways.

Summons for 15th: The CBI has filed a charge sheet under the Prevention of Corruption Act against 14 persons including Lalu and Rabri in this related case. All of them have been summoned to appear on the 15th.
In connection with this case, CBI officials raided Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi’s house in Patna last Monday and searched her for 4 hours.

Interrogation with Lalu: The next day in Delhi, CBI officials also interrogated Lalu, who was staying at his daughter Misa Bharti’s house. Opposition parties condemned the investigation of Lalu, who is ailing after a kidney transplant.
In this case, the enforcement officers conducted raids at the house of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu’s daughter Misa Bharti’s house in Delhi yesterday. The raid was conducted at more than 15 locations in Delhi, National Capital Region and Bihar. All these places are said to be owned by the land beneficiaries.
Tejaswi said, “These actions of the central government have not affected us. This will continue until next year’s Lok Sabha elections,” he said.

Lalu’s daughter Rohini Acharya posted on Twitter, “They are bothering my father who is ill. If any problem arises because of this, we will besiege Delhi. Patience has crossed the limit.
