Mumbai: Maharashtra is the leading state in onion production in India. Onion prices have come down sharply due to very high yields at present. Due to this, the income of onion farmers has been affected.
In this case, more than 10,000 farmers started a 200 km rally from Nashik to Mumbai seeking fulfillment of various demands. The rally was expected to reach Mumbai tomorrow.
