New York: Economist Steve Hanke has released a list of the world’s most miserable countries in 2022. India is ranked 103rd in this list.
Economist Steve Hanke says about this list, “This list is published based on unemployment, inflation, bank credit, GDP, prevailing in 157 countries.”

Top 10 countries in this list:
- Zimbabwe
- Venezuela
- Syria
- Lebanon
- Sudan
- Argentina
- Yemen
- Ukraine
- Cuba
- Turkey
His list also says that the above mentioned countries are in distress due to unemployment and inflation.

India is ranked 103rd in the list. It has been pointed out that unemployment is a major problem in India.
Meanwhile, Malta (148), Togo (149), Thailand (150), Niger (151), Taiwan (152), Malaysia (153), Japan (154), Ireland (155), Kuwait (156), Switzerland (157) is included. It is also said that unemployment and inflation rates are low in these countries.
