Madurai: Madurai New Century Book House has been organizing a book fair for the past 29 years to promote knowledge on the occasion of the New Year celebration.
To welcome the year 2023, a book fair with special discounts is taking place. Books are on sale at discounts ranging from 10 percent to 90 percent. New books on 200 topics including politics, economics, philosophy, art, literature, biography and history are being sold at special prices.

Apart from this, Tamil literature books like Bhavanar, Sami Chidambaranar, Bharathidasan, Mr. V.K. A special discount of 40 percent is given on the books of others. A. Krishnamurthy, Regional Manager, said that a book titled ‘Nallathoru Veenai Gedete’ written by Meghadasan is given as a gift to those who buy books above Rs.1,500.
