Disaster Impact | Aid to Turkey and Syria on behalf of Annanagar Masjid Javid

Chennai: The Annanagar Masjid Javid organization has sent essential relief items worth Rs.20 lakh to the affected people in Turkey and Syria affected by the earthquake disaster.

The recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria claimed tens of thousands of lives. Many have lost their possessions, ties, properties, comforts and homes and are standing in the freezing cold.

This tragedy affected many people and brought the world to a standstill. From children to adults, everyone is affected. Many children have become destitute. Many women and men have been affected.

We should do our best to help the people affected by this difficult situation. The people of Masjid Javid Muhalla came together to raise disaster relief funds in the spirit of participating in the tragedy of the affected people.

By Masjid Javid, Anna Nagar, Chennai, nearly Rs. 20 lakhs worth of blankets, generators and relief goods and essential items were sent as the first installment.

President of Annanagar Masjid Javid Organization L. K. S. met Umar Ozer of Turkey Cargo Warehouse in Chennai and offered relief materials. Zeydu Ahmad, Secretary Muhammed Yusuf Amin handed over on Monday.
