“I never thought I would be involved in active politics” – Udayanidhi Stalin

Actor Udayanidhistalin said, “I never thought that I would be involved in serious politics when I started the film Kannai Nambade.”

Udayanidhi Stalin and Aathmika starrer ‘Kannai Nambathe’ is slated to hit the screens on March 17 and is directed by Maran, who is known for his film ‘Yaraku Ayaar Kansan’. The press meet of the film was held in Chennai yesterday. Participating in this, actor Udhayanidhi said, “If it is the film that took 4 and a half years of my career, it is this film. The film started at the end of 2018. It was Arulnidhi who recommended this film to me. I wanted to do a crime thriller. Director Maran told a story accordingly.

Then we started the film. I had doubts about the release of the film. The film features only one song. The entire film takes place at night. Corona has come in between. So the release of the film was delayed. I am completely out of Red Giant. Chenbhagamurthy and Arjun look after it. Thanks for releasing my film. When I started this film, I didn’t know if I would be involved in active politics.

I have become a minister today. When the first schedule of this film came, the girls watched. Second schedule marriage has happened. Actor Satish will say that the baby is born in the third and fourth schedule. That’s how this film was created. I have become a big boy after working for four and a half years.

Aadmika joined the film when she was in her 12th standard. Now he has completed his college studies.
