Chennai: Actor Kamal Haasan congratulated the crew of RRR, saying, “The song that made the country sing has received the highest global recognition. I am proud of your achievement as an Indian and as a fellow artist.”

In this regard, he posted on his Twitter page, “The song that made the country sing has received the highest global recognition. As an Indian and as a fellow artist, I am proud of your achievement. My heartfelt congratulations to MM Keeravani, SS Rajamouli and the RRR team.”

Earlier, Rajamouli directed ‘RRRR’ starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt, Shreya, Ajay Devgn and others. Keeravani composed the music for this period film centered on the friendship of freedom fighters Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bhim. The song ‘Nattu Nathu’ from the critically acclaimed film recently won the Best Song award at the Golden Globe Awards.
