It has been reported that the Kicha Sudeep starrer ‘Vikrant Rona’, which is running in theatres, will soon reach the Rs 200 crore mark.
‘Vikrant Rona’ is a Kannada film directed by Anoop Bhandari and starring Kicha Sudeep. The film, which was released in theaters on July 28, was made on a budget of Rs.95 crore. The film featured Neerup Bhandari, Neeta Ashok, Madhusuthan Rao, Ravi Shankar Gowda in lead roles. It features Jacqueline Fernandez in a special appearance.
Released pan India, the film is made in 3D with an action-thriller storyline.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, ‘Vikrant Rona’ collected Rs 150 crore worldwide at the end of its 8th day. Industry traders have predicted that the collection of the film will soon increase to Rs.200 crores. Earlier, the film had collected Rs 35 crore worldwide on its first day of release.
