On behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation, Glucose was distributed to the public at 33 places in Chattuma

Coimbatore: On behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation, summer camps are set up at 33 places across the city and glucose and sattuma are distributed to the public.

On behalf of the Coimbatore Corporation Administration, a water pavilion has been set up in the Gandhipuram city bus stand complex for public use. Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, Municipal Commissioner M. Pratap inaugurated this water pandal yesterday and distributed water butter, fruits and nutritive flour to the public.

They also distributed awareness pamphlets on sun protection.

In this regard, Commissioner M. Pratap says, “Summer camps have been set up in 33 places on behalf of the Corporation. In the camps, a nurse will be assigned to the camp through the medical officers under the ward areas and glucose powder and nutritional flour will be distributed to the people. Awareness leaflets will also be provided on the safety tips to be followed to protect the public’s health during summer,” he said. In this, Deputy Commissioners Sharmila, Sivakumar, Regional President Meenaloku and others participated.
