Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has congratulated the film crew who directed the Oscar-winning ‘Nattu Nathu’ and ‘The Elephant Whispers’ documentary short film.

In this regard, he said on his Twitter page, “The song ‘Nattu Nathu’ has created a new history by becoming the first Indian Asian song to win an Oscar. Congratulations to the film crew including music composer MM Keeravani, Chandra Bose, Rahul Sipliganj & Kala Bhairava.

Stalin also congratulated the crew of ‘The Elephant Whispers’ and said, “My congratulations to both Karthiki Konçalves and Kunith Mongo who have won Oscars. Nothing could make this day better than the news that for the first time two women have won an Oscar for an Indian-made film. The patient making of #TheElephantWhisperers and its story deserves an award and appreciation.”
