These 28-day calling plans with SMS and data are priced at ₹155. The old ₹99 pack came with less data and calling and SMS services..but now even to get SMS service, the customer needs to recharge his mobile phone account for ₹155.
This move poses a major upside and risk to its market valuation. Airtel, which was already priced higher than other telcos’ monthly packs, has also hiked its charges by 57%, much to the chagrin of its users.
