All mobile phones should have FM facility..! Central government order..

The central government has ordered mobile phone manufacturers to have FM radio facility in all mobile phones sold in India.

The Central Government has directed both the Cellular and Electronic Association of India and the Manufacturers Association for Information Technology to have FM radio in all mobile phones manufactured henceforth. Their prediction is that people can use it very easily and in times of emergency.

And the Ministry of Communications has sent an order to all the mobile phone manufacturers. It also said that if a company’s phone does not have this feature, they should configure it to use it. Also, even though FM radio receiver facility is not used in mobile phones, it has been ordered to replace it with FM facility.

Both the above associations have now directed all mobile phone manufacturers to make these changes in an expedited manner. Apart from normal mobile phones most of the smartphones coming out today do not offer FM radio. In this age where everyone has grown up digitally, many people are using YouTube videos and social networking sites a lot.

Because of this they may feel that the FM facility is not needed by the customer. But they have been forced to introduce FM facility in the future. In a way this radio service is very useful. Because in many places where there is no cell phone signal, these radio services can help people instead of the internet and it is worth noting that you don’t need to pay any kind of fee to use it.

But really FM radio has been used as an important communication tool. The ministry noted that FM radios have helped both the local authorities and the people to a great extent during times of calamity.

The Ministry also said that FM radios have played an important role in the communication of the country and during the corona pandemic, FM radios have helped a lot in fighting the pandemic.
