In this situation, it has been revealed that 90 percent of the parts used in the Rashid Rover have been manufactured by a start-up company called SD Advanced Composite from Chennai.

The parts for the Rashid rover were developed over two years of hard work in Chennai using carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), magnesium alloy and aluminium. In short, 90 percent of Rashid Rover’s components are designed and manufactured by our company. This includes rover’s structure, wheels, solar panels, camera, holder and other important parts. 40 parts of the rover’s system were developed by ST.

We are looking forward to the influx of big projects from ISRO. We are working together on Chandrayaan 2, Mangalyaan and many more projects. Apart from this, we are also working with a private satellite manufacturer. This is what he said.
