India’s first center of excellence for online gaming is set up in Shillong

Shillong: Union Minister of State for Electronics, Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Chandrasekhar has said that India’s first center of excellence for online gaming will be set up in Shillong by March under the Digital India Start-Up Enterprise Terminal through Indian Software Technology Parks.

“It has been decided to create a next generation online gaming environment through all the start-up companies and industrial companies in the North East region. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, the goal is to have more start-ups and entrepreneurs come from Shillong, Kohima and the North East.” said.
