Jio’s high-speed 5G service has been launched today in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Along with this, Jio’s 5G service has been launched in 304 cities across India.
Today, Jio’s high-speed 5G service has been launched in 25 cities. Jio has launched its 5G service for the first time today in Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu.

In Tamil Nadu, Jio 5G service is available in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Vellore, Hosur, Tirupur, Erode, Dharmapuri, Tuticorin, Cuddalore, Dindigul, Kanchipuram, Karur, Kumbakonam, Nagercoil, Thanjavur, Thiruvannamalai, Tirunelveli and Pondicherry. Jio is the first company to offer 5G services in these cities.
Along with this, Jio True 5G service has been launched today in 27 cities across Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandiskar, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
Also announced as an inaugural offer Jio customers will get 1 Gbps+ unlimited internet service at no extra cost.

Regarding this, Jio spokesperson said that Jio is happy to launch the service in 27 more cities and has completed the e Beta Trial launch program in 120 days. He said that he is aiming to provide 5G service on Jio across the country by December 2023.
