Maruti Brezza and Grand Vitara: Considering the growing demand for SUVs in India, Maruti Suzuki has come up with its products. The company first launched its sub-compact SUV Brezza in a new avatar. After this, the company also brought the Maruti Grand Vitara to compete with the Creta-Celtos. Both these vehicles of this company have been well received by the customers.
According to a report in the Economic Times, Maruti Suzuki’s two SUVs have received over 1 lakh bookings within days of their launch. Of this, 75 thousand bookings have been received for the new Brezza alone, while more than 26 thousand people have booked for the Grand Vitara.
Speaking to ET Auto, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Managing Director, Maruti Suzuki, said that the company is receiving overwhelming response for its two new SUVs. More than half of Maruti Grand Vitara’s bookings are for the powerful hybrid technology variant.

The starting price of the new Brezza is Rs 7.99 lakh. At the same time, the price of its top variant goes up to Rs 13.80 lakh. It is available in a total of 7 variants. It has a 1.5 liter petrol engine.
The Maruti Grand Vitara is built on Suzuki’s Global-C platform. The mid-size SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C DualJet petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology and a 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine with Intelligent Hybrid technology. It has both manual and automatic gearbox options.
