Oppo Enco Buds Review: Perfect Affordable TWS Earphones

The Oppo Enco Buds were launched a couple of days back in India. In the first impressions of these affordable Truly Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones, I said that these are too good in sound, and they look oddly beautiful. After using them for almost five days or so, I can say I stand by my statement. In the past few days, I have watched a movie on these earphones, heard songs, took them on the run, and played multiplayer games wearing them. Here’s what I feel about the Oppo Enco Buds.

Oppo Enco Buds Review: Performance

Enco Buds

If you want to see how the buds look and their design and body, you can refer to the first impressions article. Today, we are going to talk about the performance of the Enco Buds. The Oppo Enco Buds have kind of created a new league in the TWS earphone segment. I say this because of multiple reasons. Firstly, they have a very light body. Second, the performance of the Enco Buds is at par with a TWS earphone priced in the Rs 5,000 – Rs 6,000 range. Third, they look minimalistic and premium. Fourth, the battery life is just amazing. Fifth, they pair so quickly with any device.

Believe me; I have been wearing the Enco Buds while doing almost anything and everything. While I was eating food or watching a TV show on my smartphone or whether was am running, I had them by my side at all times. Like any good TWS earphones, they are very easy to carry.

Further, the sound quality is just too good. They don’t feel like affordable earphones, to be honest ( I mean, they feel premium). The fit in the ear is just so smooth and comfortable. They don’t fall off that easily, so you can wear them while running, but be a little cautious anyway. Further, listening to songs on these earbuds is just a different experience than what you get with an affordable earphone.

The bass is right, and the sound clarity is there, along with AI-noise cancellation while voice calls. I didn’t get a single disturbing experience with the Oppo Enco Buds. If you are looking for a TWS earphone in the affordable range, these earphones can fit your needs.

I would continue listening to songs in the Enco Buds at least for a few months. These look durable so far, but I don’t really know how much of an impact the case or the earbuds can face.

Oppo Enco Buds Performance During Gaming

If you don’t know, the Oppo Enco Buds is made with gaming in mind. If you are looking for an ultra-low-latency earphone experience, the Oppo Enco Buds can be worth considering. You can triple tap on the earbuds to activate the gaming mode. It will boost the performance of the earphones and ensure that the sound and the contents on the screen are completely in sync with each other.

I played games such as Asphalt 9 and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) wearing the Oppo Enco Buds, and I had a smooth experience. Since they fit comfortably in my ears, I really like they are not a burden on my head which is something I appreciate from an affordable earphone.

Oppo Enco Buds Performance While Running

Oppo Enco Buds In Depth Review

The Oppo Enco Buds performance was really well while I was running or exercising. I love to run, and I would dislike the run if my music is interrupted. I would play really high-tempo and upbeat songs, and the Enco Buds delivered the sound waves into my ears like butter.

The Oppo Enco Buds, for some reason, feel underpriced to me. Like Oppo could have really priced them at a much higher point of Rs 3,500 or Rs 4,000 easily. But the fact that the company is underpricing the product shows that it is looking to disrupt the TWS earphones segment.

Oppo Enco Buds: Honest Review and Conclusion

Oppo

Honestly, the Enco Buds are truly great. The price to performance ratio is just too much in favour of the customers. Whether you are listening to music, attending online classes, or are in a video conference, you can wear these with comfort.

Talking about the battery life, honestly, I haven’t charged them once since I took them out of the box six days ago. The charging case always bumps the earphones up to 100% charge, and the case hasn’t asked for a charge until now. I don’t know when it will, but the later it is, the better the experience.

The quick pair functionality of these earphones is great as well. The Oppo Enco Buds are very quick to pair with any device, be it a laptop or my phone. You are truly going to appreciate what a masterpiece these earphones are.

They are available in the market already. For a special sale, Oppo was selling the Enco Buds for Rs 1,799 from September 14 to September 16, 2021, which is actually an unbelievable deal. But the actual price of the earphones is Rs 1,999 after September 16, 2021. At Rs 2,000, these earphones are still outstanding because of their performance and the overall value that they deliver.

One more thing, since they are also IP54 dust and water-resistant, you don’t need to worry about running in dusty conditions and even sweating profusely while wearing them. Under Rs 2,000, the Oppo Enco Buds would be an excellent choice for almost anyone. They are great for gaming and whatnot.
