New Delhi: Data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India says that Jio was among the top telecom providers in India to provide the fastest 4G network service by October last year. Jio is reported to be the number one in both download and upload.
In terms of download speed, Jio was reported to be operating at a speed of 20.3 megabits per second as of last October. Airtel’s download speed was 15.0 Mbps and Vodafone Idea’s download speed was 14.5 Mbps.

In terms of upload speed, Jio is running at 6.2 Mbps. This is 0.2 Mbps slower than last September. In September, Jio’s upload speed was 6.4 Mbps.
Vodafone Idea is next at 4.5 Mbps and Airtel at 2.7 Mbps. Trai is getting this data in India through an application called My Speed. BSNL is yet to offer 4G service. So it seems that Troy has removed BSNL from this section.
