Android and iOS users using WhatsApp can disable Read receipts for messages they receive on WhatsApp. It will ensure that your name is not visible in the viewers history when you are viewing other people’s WhatsApp status. First open WhatsApp on your mobile phone. Tap on the 3 dots in the top right corner and go to Settings at the end. Turn off the Read Receipts option found there.
2. Check Status Offline:

Turn off your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection to check when your friend or relative updates their status. This will cache their updated status on your device so that you can see their status without them knowing.

3. View WhatsApp Web using incognito mode:

If you are a desktop WhatsApp user, go to incognito mode by opening a new incognito window in your browser. Then go to WhatsApp Web as usual and log into your WhatsApp account by scanning the QR line. Then click on the status icon and check the WhatsApp status of the person you want to see without them knowing.
