San Francisco: It has been reported that Twitter has decided to remove the blue tick from unsubscribed user accounts on the social network. It seems that this is going to come into effect from April 1.
Elon Musk bought Twitter last year. Since then he has been making various changes to the site as per his wish. One of them is collecting subscriptions from blue ticked user accounts for commercial purposes. Accordingly, it was announced that anyone can subscribe to the Twitter site and get a Blue Tick for identification as an authorized account.

Before that, Twitter only gave blue ticks to user accounts like media houses, social media influencers, celebrities and political party figures. All of them were getting this feature without paying any subscription fee. In this context, the above mentioned recognized celebrities also have to pay the Blue Dick subscription. It looks like users of these accounts will lose their ‘Blue Tick’ accreditation if they don’t subscribe by next April. Because it seems that Twitter company is offering some exclusive features to the users who subscribe to this blue tick. Because of that this action.
It is noteworthy that this tick mark has been provided in different colors since November last year in order to easily identify organizations, government and individuals who have been recognized on Twitter.
