Various information has come out that VLC media player developed by Videolane has been banned in India by last August. VLC media player was banned without any reason or prior notice. A legal notice has been sent on behalf of Video Lane asking for an explanation in this regard. Importantly, notice that Videolane has informed the Government of India that it reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against you for failure to protect our rights guaranteed by the Constitution of India, breach of your obligations under international law and violation of its own laws.
