Folding phones seem to have an ever-increasing fanbase and Oppo Find N is no exception despite its single-market availability. W loved our time spent with the compact foldable doing our full review and plenty of you are also fond of Oppo’s first folding phone. Last week’s poll was all about your opinion on the Find N and now that the votes are in, we have a clear majority that believes Oppo made the best foldable to date.
And there’s good reason for all the positive feedback, Oppo really made a well-rounded device with a unique form factor that does not really have a direct competitor at this stage. Having a compact foldable phone with a spacious 7.1-inch screen feels surreal at times especially when jumping between the small but very usable 5.45-inch cover screen and the larger inward panel.
This is also the foldable with the least visible crease to date which really adds to the immersion and usability of the main display. Battery life is decent, the triple cameras deliver sharp snaps and the Snapdragon 888 holds its own in every sort of task thrown at it.
There are still some who prefer other horizontal foldables – mostly Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold3, but Huawei’s Mate X2 also came up. And of course, there’s the clamshell foldable camp that favors more compact phones like the Galaxy Z Flip3 or that new Huawei P50 Pocket. Do let us know which form factor is better in your opinion and why so?
