Wimble — A Twitch alternative where viewers play with streamers live

This is kind of an experiment. New advancements in near-zero latency WebRTC broadcasting mixed with good old iframes have made possible a streaming environment where streamers and viewers can play third party games together without leaving the platform.

This works well with multiplayer games that require no sign up and can have private lobbies shared via a URL. The options now are limited, but it’s easy to imagine a future where such games are built with the platform in mind. Games could support the platform’s usernames, streamer/viewer distinctions, etc.

Anyway, I’ll be live for a while, I hope a few people hop in and play some games!
